Library Programs Officer
Permanent part-time (45 hours per fortnight)
Salary: $75,309 - $90,754 per annum (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation.

The City of Fremantle is seeking an enthusiastic Library Programs Officer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a busy and collaborative team.
The position reports to the Library Manager and will require you to engage with and support the Library Team. We are seeking individuals who can interact well with a wide variety of people, with strong communication skills and an adaptable approach to work. You will be expected to work within existing practices and make suggestions on how we can improve our service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:

Improve outcomes for community members through lifelong learning programs in the City of Fremantle.

Build connections with internal and external stakeholders, including not-for-profit organisations and government agencies.

Develop and deliver innovative programs and events that encourage community learning, encourage community connections, and enrich and inspire the Fremantle community.
The successful applicants will understand the place of the public library within a community and be able to display high levels of empathy and discretion. Demonstrated experience delivering public programs for diverse audiences in a public library or cultural institution will be highly desirable.
The successful applicants will be asked to provide Police Clearance. *Days and hours worked are subject to change after consultation with staff.
