Waverley Council is looking for a dynamic Team Leader – Library Events and Engagement to lead the planning and delivery of innovative programs, events and workshops to enrich our community.

What be you’ll doing?

  • Drive service excellence and innovation to deliver a wide variety of events, programs and workshops for adults
  • Mentor and support team members to grow skills and performance
  • Create outreach opportunities to engage widely with the community
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing and design teams to engage the community

What you’ll bring?

  • Tertiary qualification in Library and Information Studies or Event Management or other relevant area of study/experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in event management, program delivery or community engagement.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in staff supervision, with proven capacity to lead and develop staff.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to deal with difficult customers.
