Vibrant and community-focused, Murray Library is dedicated to providing resources, services, and programs designed to enrich the lives of our diverse patrons. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Library Officer specialising in Events and Programs.
As the Library Officer for Events and Programs, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and implementing a wide range of engaging, enriching and educational events and programs for youth, adults and seniors. This position requires a passion for community engagement, excellent organisational skills, and a creative mindset to develop innovative and inclusive library initiatives.
Working within a cohesive and dynamic team, the role requires high level customer service skills and strong sense of community. Confidence to assist patrons with mobile devices and understanding of day-to-day library processes and operations would be a valued attribute.
The position on offer is a full-time position working 76 hours per fortnight with the requirement to work 9:00am – 12:00pm alternate Saturdays. An EBA Level 3 salary between $65,833.58 and $69,761.44 per annum will be offered based upon skills, knowledge and experience.
