Connected Libraries are in the City of Casey which is one of Victoria’s largest, fastest growing and most diverse municipalities. We operate five Libraries, a Library Lounge located in Cranbourne West and Clyde Township, plus four sets of 24/7 library lockers. We deliver services for the more than 400,000 residents who call Casey home.
Requirements
About the Role
As a Customer Experience Officer, you will play a hands-on role in delivering outstanding front-line service to our community across multiple libraries within the City of Casey. You will be central to ensuring our customers feel supported and valued, helping meet their needs while contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our library services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering innovative, consistent and customer-focused library services
- Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with internal teams and external community organisations
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative and adaptable team environment across all sites
Key Selection Criteria
- Ability to effectively and efficiently provide friendly customer service
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with all ages across all levels of community
- Information technology and problem-solving skills in a range of information technology and software tools
- Demonstrated understanding of the role of public libraries in communities and a community focused approach to service delivery
- Demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet organisational strategic outcomes
- Year 12 completion or equivalent
- Public Library experience desirable
- Working with Children Check
- Driver’s licence
