Classification: Band 3 Level A-D $67,363 – $74,216 (Dependent on skills and experience)
- Permanent, Part time – 20 hours average per week including 1 in 3 rostered Saturdays (Bayswater)

- Saturday (1 in 3) Bayswater 9:45am – 12noon 2.25 hours + 1 hour OT

As a Customer Service Officer, you will:
- Provide friendly, customer-focused service that reflects Your Library’s vision and values.
- Promote and assist customers with library collections, programs, and digital services.
- Support a self-service environment and help customers confidently use technology.
- Contribute to community programs and events that inspire learning and connection.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all.

Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated understanding of customer service excellence in a busy public-facing environment.
- Strong inter-personal skills, including the ability to respond promptly and courteously to customers who are accessing a diverse range of services.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving digital environment and assist members of the public to utilise library technology.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds.
A current Working with Children Check and Driver’s Licence are required (or willingness to obtain).
