National Harmony Day is on 21 March and PLA encourages you to be part of this important national event.
Harmony Day celebrates the cohesive nature of Australian society and promotes the benefits of our cultural diversity.
'Everyone belongs' is the continuing message which reflects community participation, inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging for all Australians. A key theme in 2010 is Express Yourself. Harmony Day provides a clear opportunity to tell your community about your grant and to highlight the importance of the cultural diversity in your community - through action, performance, fashion or food.
The Department of Immigration and Citizenship can provide free promotional items such as buttons, posters, balloons and tattoos. A product catalogue showing these items is attached and you are encouraged to order early through http://www.harmony.gov.au.
